Storm Watching - Penzance Promenade
Penzance Promenade is a great place to storm watch but you have to be extremely careful about where you position yourself.
The scenes can be very dramatic and exhilarating, especially when high tides meet strong winds, but the power of the sea here demands respect. Ideally you would watch from the safety of the Queens Hotel whose cafe overlooks the promenade.
This vantage point allows you to witness the spectacle without the risk. You can also watch from the Lugger Inn with a pint in hand. Assuming it is open during storm season.
