A Walk Along St Mawes Seafront

This walking route offers a straightforward tour of the St Mawes coastline, beginning near Summer Beach.

The path leads past the Idle Rocks Hotel and continues towards the quayside, which serves as the departure point for the St Mawes Ferry to Falmouth.

From the harbour, the route follows the seafront road past local shops and residential properties, ending at the historic St Mawes Castle before returning the same way. 

The seafront is a popular location for plein air painting, and it is common to see local artists working on the shore.

Parking

Parking is available at the main St Mawes car park, which is conveniently located for starting this walk.
