St Mawes
St Mawes is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque and prestigious waterside villages, situated at the tip of the Roseland Peninsula overlooking the Carrick Roads.
Historically a busy fishing port, it is now celebrated for its Mediterranean-style atmosphere, narrow climbing streets, and the exceptionally well-preserved St Mawes Castle, built by Henry VIII.
Positioned within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village faces south across the Fal Estuary toward Falmouth, offering a sheltered climate and some of the finest sailing waters in the United Kingdom.
