Perched on the dramatic cliffs just outside the village, Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe is a multi-award-winning destination that champions the very best of Cornish agriculture. Built on National Trust land at Hillsborough Farm, the shop and cafe offer panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding countryside. It is a true “field to fork” experience, where much of the produce—including their famous Red Ruby beef—is raised on the surrounding fields by the owners themselves.

We highly recommend the “Red Ruby” beef burger; the meat comes directly from the pedigree cattle you can often see grazing in the adjacent fields. If you are visiting for coffee, their homemade cakes and scones are exceptional. After your meal, take the short path from the garden down to the South West Coast Path; it’s one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in the county and a great spot for spotting grey seals in the coves below.
