Counthouse Cafe
Nestled within the dramatic landscape of the Tin Coast, the Count House Cafe is a gem for those exploring the heritage-rich area of Pendeen.
Housed in the former accountancy building of the Geevor Tin Mine, the cafe manages to feel both historic and incredibly welcoming.
It has built a loyal following not just for its proximity to the South West Coast Path, but for a kitchen that prides itself on proper, honest Cornish cooking and a vantage point that offers some of the most stunning coastal views in the county.
JV’s Comment – We’ve enjoyed cooked breakfasts all over Cornwall, but this place stands out by a mile. As I write this in September 2025, we’ve just returned from our 16th visit; and it won’t be our last. The views are stunning, the staff are great, and the food has always been top-notch.
To burn off your delicious food make sure you head down to the coast path to enjoy the spectacular views and mining ruins.
