Hayle is often referred to as a town of two halves. You have the “Foundry” end (with Asda, the harbour, and the train station) and the “Copperhouse” end (the main high street and library). Knowing which end you need is the first step to stress-free parking.
If you are heading to the beach, do not try to park in the town. Head straight for The Towans on the coast road.
Our Top Picks
Save time by heading straight to the car park that matches your plans.
- Best for Shopping (Foundry End): Foundry Square Car Park. The most convenient car park for the independent shops, the harbour, and the train station.
- Best for the High Street (Copperhouse): Commercial Road Car Park. A large Council-run car park right behind the library. Perfect for accessing the main banks and Philps Pasties.
- Best for the Beach (The Towans): Gwithian Towans Car Park. The huge car park at the far end of the bay. It offers the easiest access to the sand and the best surf.
