Autumn is a lovely time to be in Cornwall. The summer crowds have gone, the coast paths are quieter, the gardens turn rust and gold, and the big seas start rolling in. Many locals consider this the best time of year. The sea is at its warmest (having heated up all summer), the crowds thin out, and the “September Festival” brings music and arts to every corner of town.
