Parking in Mullion varies wildly depending on whether you are visiting the village shops or the sea. The village itself has excellent free parking, which is a rarity in Cornwall. However, the coastal car parks at Mullion Cove and Poldhu are privately or Council managed and strictly enforced.

Note for National Trust Members: While the National Trust owns the land at Mullion Cove and Poldhu, the car parks are often not free for members. Always check the signage at the machine to avoid a fine.

Our Top Picks

Your choice depends on how close to the water you need to be.

  • Best for the Village (Free): Mullion Village Car Park. A fantastic free car park located centrally in the village. It is the perfect starting point for the circular coastal walk if you don’t mind the hike back up from the cove.
  • Best for the Harbour: Mullion Cove Car Park. Located on the cliffs above the harbour. It is privately owned (not National Trust) and usually cash-only. The views from here are spectacular.
  • Best for Sandy Beaches: Poldhu Cove. The go-to spot for families and surfers. The car park is directly opposite the beach and cafe.
