Falmouth is one of Cornwall’s largest towns, and while it has plenty of parking, the layout can be confusing. The town is wrapped around a harbour with a long high street, meaning a space at one end (The Moor) is a 15-minute walk from the other (The Maritime Museum).
To avoid getting stuck in the narrow high street traffic, we recommend heading to the larger car parks on the perimeter or using the Park & Ride during the summer season.
Our Top Picks
Falmouth has distinct “zones.” Choose the one closest to where you want to spend your time.
- Best for the Maritime Museum & Events Square: Grove Place Car Park. Located right next to the museum and the chain locker.
- Best for the High Street (Cheaper): Town Quarry Car Park. It is located at the top of a steep hill, but it is larger and often has spaces when the town is full.
- Best for Gyllyngvase Beach: Gyllyngvase Beach Car Park. The primary car park right on the seafront.
