JV’s comment – “In my opinion, this is the finest cafe view in all of Cornwall. On a clear, sunny day, the Atlantic outlook is simply unbeatable. We’ve visited many times, but one particular afternoon stands out: we sat in the garden and watched a whale cruising through the water in the distance. I’ve also seen Bluefin Tuna breaching just off the shore as well. The food is consistently good, too“

Sometimes, it’s the simplest snacks that hit the spot. We recently sat out on a beautiful, crisp winter afternoon with a tray of cheesy fries topped with fresh spring onions. Washed down with a couple of ice-cold Coke Zeros in the sunshine, it was the perfect mid-walk refuel. It just goes to show that you don’t always need a full three-course meal to enjoy one of the best views in Cornwall.

Ann’s Pasties

No trip to The Lizard is complete without visiting Ann’s. Located in a distinctive yellow building in the village, these are often cited as the best pasties in Cornwall.
