Marazion is famous for its sweeping views across to St Michael’s Mount, but if you wander along the beach at low tide, you’ll find another side to its charm, a stretch of beautiful, crystal-clear rockpools waiting to be explored.

As the sea draws back, it leaves behind calm, glassy pools full of life. Tiny fish dart through the water, crabs hide among the seaweed, and anemones glow gently in the sunlight. The clarity of the water here is incredible, on a still day you can see every detail of the sand and shells beneath the surface.

It’s the kind of simple seaside moment that makes Cornwall so special. Whether you’re with family, taking photos, or just enjoying the quiet with the Mount in view, the rockpools at Marazion are a lovely reminder of how magical the Cornish coast can be.
