Storm Agnes is the UK’s first named storm of the season, and I spent a fascinating afternoon filming its arrival at Porthleven. There’s something uniquely captivating about watching the sea respond to strong winds, and Storm Agnes offered plenty of movement and texture to capture.

With gusts reaching up to 50–60 mph in parts of Cornwall, the waves rolled in with steady power, reshaping the shoreline and creating foamy patterns along the harbour walls. I always enjoy observing how the coastal landscape changes under these conditions, and Storm Agnes provided the perfect opportunity to do just that, from the rising swell to the dynamic cloud formations above, it was a real treat for any keen observer of Cornwall’s wild seascapes.
